Kirkland Residence

Kirkland, Washington
residence, accessory dwelling unit

Completed Fall of 2019, photos coming soon

This new residence on an infill lot reverses the floor plans — placing the living, dining and kitchen spaces on the uppermost level to capture spectacular views of Lake Washington, Seattle and the Olympic Mountains.  A lower-level accessory dwelling of just under 800 SF shares the alley side.  Roofs are organized to direct rainwater run-off to a small rain-garden adjacent to the entry.  Designed for lovers of modern design, this house has the DNA of a Northwest mid-century modern, with a personal twist.
